Nuthurst Grange Wedding: Katie & Edward
I live down the road from Nuthurst Grange Country House but have never photographed a wedding there before. Hilarious! Nuthurst is a hidden gem (to me) down a long drive & instantly makes you feel incredibly cosy. As well as the main house where the wedding breakfast was served there's separate stables where the ceremony, drinks reception & evening reception takes place so it was really nice having both locations!
When I met Katie & Ed on their engagement shoot I became really excited for the wedding as they both have the most amazing smiles & are just incredibly lovely people. So when the day started with torrential rain, I knew it wouldn't be stressing them out! As soon as we walked in the room Katie's big smile was beaming. Rob then stayed with the boys & guests whilst I stayed with a very calm bride & bridesmaids. Everyone in the room was complimenting Katie from the hair stylist saying she has the best hair, makeup stylist saying she has the best face & myself - photographers dream. Katie stayed humble the whole time, but it's true! Model bride.
Once the lovely ceremony ended in The Stables we decided to get most of the photos done as the weather was holding off (promise I am always lucky) apart from it being windy (flying hats galore).
The wedding breakfast was longer than normal as they had four courses! Two was more than enough for myself & Rob so I bet everyone was very well fed! Once speeches commenced it was swiftly back over to The Stables where The Band were set up & ready to go.
All in all, lovely wedding with lovely people. Have a look through to see the full day unfold.
